Propuesta nuevas Leyes Congreso Olimpiada Estambul – post by Kalandraka – 28-07-2012
La FIDE ha puesto un listado con un porrón de documentos para el Congreso que coincide con la Olimpiada de Estambul.
Hay un borrador con las «nuevas» Leyes del Ajedrez.

Ya veremos que se aprueba o no al final en el Congreso.
Como cosa curiosa, y como he sido / soy muy cansino con el tema, a parte de la forma «correcta» que es la vigente ahora mismo (mover el peón a la casilla correspondiente de la octava fila, quitar el peón y poner la pieza que queramos, y pulsar luego el reloj), se propone también admitir lo que suele hacer mucha gente, y ahora no está recogido: poner una pieza, y quitar el peón de séptima.
Lo que están en vigor y vale:
«3.7 e
When a pawn reaches the rank furthest from its starting position it must be exchanged as part of the same move on the same square for a new queen, rook, bishop or knight of the same colour. The player’s choice is not restricted to pieces that have been captured previously. This exchange of a pawn for another piece is called ‘promotion’ and the effect of the new piece is immediate.» Hasta aquí es lo que pone en versión vigente
La propuesta para la nueva versión tiene, además de esta frase, el siguiente añadido:
«The player has the choice: to remove the pawn from the penultimate rank and then immediately to put the new piece on the square of promotion; or to move the pawn to the last rank, then to remove the pawn from the chessboard and then immediately to put the new piece on the square of promotion. Thus the pawn can be removed from the board and the new piece be put on the appropriate square in any order.»
Por cierto, que tiene pinta de que varios de los cambios vienen de lo que comentaba de la reglas de la USCF… incluido éste, donde el añadido de después está poco puesto de forma rara, y me explico: este último párrafo da dos opciones para coronar, y se ha «pegado» ahí, pero arriba se deja la famosa frase de «When a pawn reaches the rank furthest from its starting position it must be exchanged as part of the same move on the same square for a new queen, rook, bishop or knight of the same colour.»

Muy curiosa resulta también la propuesta del nuevo 10.2
10.2 If the player having the move has less than two minutes left on his clock, he may request that a time delay or cumulative time of an extra five seconds be introduced for both players, if possible. The clocks shall then be set with the extra time; the opponent shall be awarded two extra minutes and the game shall continue.

Pues anda que quieren poner que para reclamar triple ya no haga falta escribir antes la jugada, sino que se permita hacer la jugada en el tablero y reclamar
ALTERNATIVE: Note: In this proposal the player, who likes to claim a draw, does not
have to write the move in advance. Also he may make his move without losing the right to
claim.
9.2 The game is drawn, upon a correct claim by a player while his clock is still running,
when the same position has appeared for at least the third time (not necessarily by a
repetition of moves).

O hay gente que se aburre mucho, o es que se cobra un pastón por asistir a las reuniones en las que se debaten todo este tipo de cosas.

Sé por experiencia que muchas de las propuestas al final no son aprobadas, recuerdo por ejemplo el cambio de la constante k para el cálculo del elo que iba a ser duplicada.
Por eso no me voy a molestar en leerlas, ya lo haré cuando salga la nueva redacción.
De lo que estáis diciendo en este hilo, me gusta el cambio en la redacción del artículo más conflictivo de las Leyes del Ajedrez, el 10.2.
